Local Missions

Acting Locally

"...you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria...". (Acts 1:8)

At all times God calls us to action locally and globally for all people.
We are His witnesses for the world to see His love and hope. We believe God created us to work together for the good of our city and live that out with our local partner organizations.

Act locally in Costa Mesa and Orange County to live as God's witness.

Ways to care for our community in this time

We believe that God hears us when we pray and that He can do more than we can ask or imagine.

Join the movement to pray with Christians throughout Costa Mesa to pray without ceasing for 24 hours a day! Pray Costa Mesa began on March 23rd and will continue through Holy week. Sign up to pray for one hour in your home for our community and the world that is impacted by Covid-19.

People currently living without a home or on the streets are vulnerable and in need of lunches. We understand that budgets are tight, one or two lunches makes an impact and is needed.

STEP 1: Assemble Bags
Assemble a pre-made bag lunch for the day that homeless guests can grab for the day.

Ideal Lunch Menu: peanut butter and jelly sandwich, juice box, fruit with a peel (banana, apple, orange or tangerine, grapes), chips or a cookie.

STEP 2: Personalize It
Draw or write on the bag, get creativity with an encouraging message! Take time to write a personal note to include in the lunch. Share scripture, a prayer or words of hope.

STEP 3: Delivery or Pick Up
If you are able to drive and deliver lunches, this is most helpful! Drop off pre-made bag lunches for the day that homeless guests can grab for the day.
