Acting Locally, Impacting Globally
In Acts 1:8, Jesus told His disciples (and us) that "...you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria...". Our Jerusalem, Judea and Samaria are our local neighborhoods, communities and cities. Beyond the personal witnessing we are called to do with those whom we come in contact every day, we are blessed to engage in many serving and witnessing activities and partnerships within our city of Costa Mesa and elsewhere in our region.
We are particularly blessed to be part of Trellis, a unique organization of Costa Mesa churches, non-profits, businesses, agencies, city officials and other partners collaborating to resolve the city's greatest challenges, including homelessness, education and truly loving our neighbors. All these initiatives are deeply founded on consistent prayer and community together.
Additional local mission opportunities include, monthly food distribution for the needy, Habitat for Humanity builds and activities, and more. Join us and make an impact.
