Welcome to Christ Lutheran Children's Ministry!

Kids are an important part of our worship life together at Christ Lutheran. We endeavor to help Christ Lutheran kids learn to passionately serve God by:

  • living a life rooted in faith through their baptism
  • discovering their God-given gifts and how to use them
  • positively influencing their family and friends who do not know Jesus

We offer two education opportunities for children (age 3 and potty-trained through grade 5) every Sunday.

Sunday School

All children come together in room 112 for worship, learning, and play during our Equipping Hour between services from 9:20-10:20am.

Kids’ Church

During our 10:30am worship service, children have their very own Kids’ Church time. It’s a fun and educational time where kids learn a Bible story and then join in an interactive craft or activity. Beginning in worship with their family, just prior to the sermon kids are dismissed to meet Miss Emily and the Children's Ministry team in the back of the church. Preschool kids head to room 1113 and elementary students meet in room 112 – they may be picked up there after the service. On Sundays where Communion is served, children are brought back into worship to participate in Communion with their family.

Christ Lutheran VBS 2019 is Monday, June 24 through Friday, June 28 from 9am-Noon. It is open to all children age 3 (and potty-trained) through incoming 5th grade students. 6th grade youth and older are welcome to join us as volunteers!

Nursery Care

Our Church Nursery is available for healthy children aged from 6 months to 3 years of age. Nursery care is offered during both Sunday worship services. Our nursery is located at the back of the church building.

Upon registration, nursery staff greets your child in a warm and caring manner. A variety of activities are available to children while being cared for by our loving, qualified volunteers.

If you are interested in helping serve in our church nursery, please download the volunteer description and application. You may contact Tracy Wander with any questions.
